What We Publish
KF Books publishes narrative and intellectual works with global-market potential — books that deserve readers beyond the language they were written in.
Current Focus Areas:
- Literary fiction and upmarket commercial fiction
- Narrative nonfiction (essays, reportage, cultural commentary)
- Nonfiction with international relevance (wide scope)
- Young adult fiction with crossover appeal
- Short story collections with thematic unity
Poetry, screenplays, picture books, colouring books, journals, or workbooks.
Technology & Rights
AI-Generated Content
We accept both fully human-written manuscripts and works with AI assistance. However, disclosure is mandatory. If any part of your text was drafted, co-written, or substantially edited with AI, you must disclose this during submission. Non-disclosure is grounds for rejection or contract termination.
The AuthorHash Requirement
We ask you to provide a valid AuthorHash Certificate for every submission to protect your intellectual property rights. Every KF Books subscription plan includes at least one AHC gift code redeemable at Libris Ventures. No registration is needed there; simply make a fingerprint of your work before submitting it to us.

Manuscripts must not be under an active exclusive contract with another publisher. Previously self-published works are welcome provided you hold full rights. Simultaneous submissions are permitted — just let us know promptly if you accept an offer elsewhere.
What to Prepare
Cover Letter
One page including the title, genre, word count, 2-sentence premise, and global market potential.
Synopsis
One page complete narrative summary including the ending. 3rd person, present tense.
The Manuscript
Complete, proofread, formatted simply: .docx or .pdf, 12pt serif font, double-spaced.
Author Bio (Optional)
50-100 words. We support full anonymity and pen names.
AuthorHash Certificate
Upload your AHC as a separate PDF file. It must correspond to the exact manuscript submitted.
Word Counts
There are no rigid limits, but these ranges reflect what we typically acquire:
If your work falls outside these ranges and you believe it's the right length for what it is, submit it anyway.
What Happens Next
Acknowledgement: Within 48 hours of receipt.
Initial Review: 4–6 weeks for our team to perform a first-pass evaluation.
Final Decision: 8 weeks maximum. We resolve every submission — no silence.
